When configured Apache 2.2 with PPM using, and also, using a Virtual Host, the "Missing uri map error" pops up.

When ran the apache url, it fails to load PPM login page and the mod_jk.log throws below error message,

Missing the JkMountCopy On on the virtual host configuration.

Reading some external resources you need to add the JkMountCopy On, on your virtual host configuration when you are using a Virtual host, Other ways you will get this error message.

The virtual host configuration should look like this,

<VirtualHost localhost:443>

JkMountCopy On
