(PPM) Support tip: Using Region of Resource Pool when Calculating Forecast Labor Cost

In previous versions, when PPM calculates forecast labor cost from a staffing profile position, the region

used to pick up the cost rule is always the region of the staffing profile unless a resource is assigned to

the position.

In PPM 9.32, you can use the following server configuration parameter to decide to use the region of the

staffing profile or the region of the resource pool. You can configure this parameter in the

server.conf file or the Administration Console.

If you set this parameter to true, PPM uses the region of the resource pool specified for the position to pick up cost rule when calculating its forecast labor cost.

If you set this parameter to false, PPM uses the region of the staffing profile where the position

belong to pick up cost rule when calculating its forecast labor cost.

Best regards,
Randall
