PPM ports and firewalls

We need to document inbound/outbound ports for a clustered ppm 9.14 instance. We are using IIS and https.

I guess this has been done a couple of times. Do HP have any documentation of standard ports, and maybe a list of network traffic that PPM utilize and may utilize.

Re: PPM ports and firewalls

There is an example portset for the multicast component in the 9.1 installation guide, but it only covers about 4 nodes (I think) and your specific info is all in your server.conf file.  Extracting it from there might be a tedious task but it will be accurate for your specific installation and hopefully you only need to do it once 🙂

Server.conf file contains web ports, RMi ports and all other required communciation ports.  I don't think there are any other defaults that PPM uses that are not kept in that file.  There is another multicast port value in the cache.conf file - does anyone know of any others?
