Pivot portlet settings

Can anyone from HP/MF speak to the intent of the server.conf parameters for the pivot portlet? Are they intended to prevent long-running portlets? out of memory errors? The default settings seem to put a huge limit on the utility of the portlet...what is the (negative) implication of say changing the dashboard.Pivotdataset-Max-Distinct-Cells from 10,000 to 10,000,000?

Re: Pivot portlet settings

Hi Erik Cole,

Yes, we recommend to keep these parameter as default for best performance, if you set higher than default values it could lead to performance issue.

You can get more details on the link below

Re: Pivot portlet settings

Hello

I can only recommed usinf Excel reports and inclusing the pivot in the Excel report or only showing the pivot in Excel as active tab.

Without Excel you are permanently increasing the pivot parameters in PPMC.

Best regards
