Question on Resource Pools versus Organizational Units

Hi

I have created and entire org structure in PPMC.   I know want to create Resource Pools that are identical to the Org Units.

It already took way too long to add all the names into each Org Unit, but now it looks like I need to add each name (yet again) to the Resource Pool as I create those.... Is this the case?  Is there an easier way?

Thanks

Re: Question on Resource Pools versus Organizational Units

Hi,

There's no easy way that I know of. You have to create the resource pools one by one and link them to the corresponding Primary Org Units upon creation.

Re: Question on Resource Pools versus Organizational Units

You can create a sql procedure/package to add resource in the org unit/ resource pool of their manager.
