Question on Tokens

Hello All,

Need some help in using resource page fields tokens in a query. Please let me know how to use the resource token in the query. Am trying to use as [USR.RESOURCE_CATEGORY_CODE] but it is not working, even I have tried to use with specific user as [USR."<username>".RESOURCE_CATEGORY_CODE].

As this is required to get the users cost category in the query.

Please provide your thoughts/help in this regard.

Thanks,
BRM

Re: Question on Tokens

What's the context for what you're doing? Notification? Request rule? Execution/command?

I think it's

[USR="<your_username>".RESOURCE_CATEGORY_CODE]

or for the current user, something like

[USR="[SYS.USERNAME]".RESOURCE_CATEGORY_CODE]

Re: Question on Tokens

Hello Erik,

Thanks for your reply. Context is that we have user data for Resource Category Code. That User data has to be populated in Resource User Data. So whenever a user is searched using the search resources page and when we open that resource then user data to be populated for that resource based on resource category code.

Actually user wants to add the fields to resource page. so instead of touching the page planned to use user data concept. so looking for the tokens.

As a admin/resource manager, resources can be searched from search resources. So user is based on search criteria.

Let me know is this clear or not.

Thanks,
