Removing Mobile QR Code from Login Screen

Jump to solution

Hello All,

Is there a way to remove the mobile link (QR code) from the login page? We would still like to keep the overall PPM mobile capabilites. Simply, remove the QR code from the login screen.

Hi,

The QR code will only appear if you have the PPM mobile web client deployed. To remove mobile web client, change the server paramter ENABLE_MOBILITY_APPS from true to false, then run kUpdateHtml.sh and restart PPM.

If you still want to use mobile Web Client but don't want to see the QR code option on the login page, you should customize the file <SERVER_HOME>\deploy\itg.war\web\new\logon.jsp and replace line 26 (as of PPM 9.42) from:

boolean isMiniappsDeployed = appContext != null && "/ppm_dm-web".equals(appContext.getContextPath());

to:

boolean isMiniappsDeployed = false;

Then recompile JSPs.

Kind Regards,

Etienne.
