Schedule Health - Scheduled Finish vs Baseline Finish

We would like to have our schedule health outlook (actuals if they exist, scheduled dates otherwise) compared to a baseline to calculate scheduled health. We've tried basing schedule health on Start Dates, Finish dates, Milestones and Critical path, but PPM is only flagging the schedule as yellow or red when these dates have passed (already missed.) We would like to see the schedule health flag as yellow or red when we are forecasting that dates will be missed, for example, when the the Scheduled Finish is beyond the Baseline FInish date. We're using HP PPM v 9.22. Is it possible to configure settings to do this? Thank you!

Re: Schedule Health - Scheduled Finish vs Baseline Finish

Hi Jennifer,

You would need to disable the health indicators in order of doing your own health indicators, we created a PLSQL Package that runs once a day to update the health accordingly to our client needs.

Is not a nice option to implement but do the job.

Regards,

Alfredo

Re: Schedule Health - Scheduled Finish vs Baseline Finish

Hi...it sounds like what you're looking for is the Earned Value metrics, specifically SPI. We've done a similar thing in that we've disabled the schedule health and just rely on Cost & EV health using the CPI & SPI metrics.
