UI Rule - Can you make a field editable and required with the same rule?

Jump to solution

I've been using UI rules  for a long time, but we've always had separate rules to make (as an example) a field editable and required .  Is it possible to have multiple UI instunctions in the same rule, so we don't have two rules?

Thanks.

Yes, can put multiple instructions in a single rule:

setFieldEditable(true); setFieldRequired(true)

You just need to separate each instruction by a semi-colon, but do not put one at the end.

Thank you so much.  This will make a big difference.  No idea why I never thought to ask this question in the past.
