Unable to change the label name "Scope Changes" in the "Project Summary" page

Hi,

We are using PPM 8.0 SP2.

We want to change the label name for "Scope Changes" in the "Project Summary" page to
"Project Changes".

We did this change in PPM 7.1 SP5 by modifying the "ProjectResources.properties" file
in the "resources/web" directory of server. But we are unable to change the name "Scope Changes"
to "Project Changes" in PPM 8.0 SP2.

We even did the workaround which has given in PDF "hp_man_PPM8.00_CustomStdInterface_pdf.pdf"
provided by HP for renaming some of the text. But it is not working in this case.

But we are able to rename the column names under the "Scope Changes" tile.

Could you please let us know how to change the Lable name of "Scope Changes" in Project Summary page.

Thanks
Shravan.

Re: Unable to change the label name "Scope Changes" in the "Project Summary" page

Hi.
Search for a file called in pm_resources_en.jar the folder ...\deploy\itg.war\WEB-INF\lib\

With the MLU interface there are language specific properties files zipped in these jars. There may be more places to look in, so another option would be to take the original language pack from HP and modify it in there for one or more languages and then try to redeploy it.

In the end, modifying these text strings is a type of customization I always try to avoid. Of course you will have to make the changes again with every SP to be deploeyed.
