Unable to see "Create blank work plan" option in project summary.

Jump to solution

Hi Team,

I am somehow unable to see "Create blank work plan" option in project summary for some projects

I only see create workplan from template" and "create workplan from another project".

But for some fo the project I can see "create blank work plan".

Can anyone tell me is there any project setting available to change this.
Currently I dont find in the project settings for this option.

Best Regards,

Shravan

Check the project settings. If Microsoft Project Integration imode s set to "Microsoft controls all shared work plan information" or "Control is shared" then you will not have the option to create a blank work plan. This must be set to
"PPM controls all shared work plan information" for this option to be available.

Hi,

Normally you should be a Project Manager, to be able to create / edit a workplan in a Project.

Is it reproducible in a staging environment ?

Is it reproducible when you call PPMs internal web server ? (I had several issues with portlets + external web server)

Kind regards,
