Understand the Kintana Migration Process

We have the kintana server. And we have 4 instances say  Dev , Test, QA and Prod.

When we migrate a PLSQL object, we first check-in the component in the ITG/Kintana server get the version number, then create a new line for the object and migrate it to Dev/ UAT.

Now when we migrate the same component to the next instance say QA, will the object be picked up from the ITG/Kintana server again or will it be picked up from the DEv/ UAT instance where the object was earlier migrated and deploy to QA.

Re: Understand the Kintana Migration Process

This totally depends on how your migration workflows are configured. It could be either way.
