User Connectivity Issue

Jump to solution

Hello All,

Observed that Users were connecting to Services Node instead of User Node. I have checked Installation and Administration guide and Upgrade guide on this information. Everything seems correct. This is observed after upgrade done on the environment. Upgrade is done on cluster environment (two nodes hosted on single machine - 1 Service node and 1 Use node).

May I know how this can be fixed?

Thanks,

BRM

Users would be connecting to a specific port on the server, either directly in the URL or through a hardware or software switch. Look at the URL they are using and determine where it takes them.

Please check in the server.conf if com.kintana.core.server.SERVICES_ENABLED is set to true for the service node. if not , please do so and run kupdatehtml.sh .

Hello Jim,

Yes using port defined in the server.conf file and web.config file of the IIS Server. I have tested by changing the port numbers and confirmed that based on that port configuration users connectivity established with the particular node.

Thanks,
