is it possible to mutiply field values in PPM version 9.22?

I have a customer who wants me to create 3 new fields on an RT, both fields will have hidden numeric values and the client wants the third field to populate with the multiplied sum of the two preceding fields.  is this possible?  Is this something I could set up using request rules or some SQL function?

yes, you can do it using sql rule.

In the dependency field select those two hidden fields and in result field enter third field .

in sql select <tokeen of 1st>*<token of 2nd>,<tokeen of 1st>*<token of 2nd> from dual
