which service calcs the EV values?

Can anyone give a definitive answer about which service calculates the EV metrics (EV, CPI/SPI, etc) for tasks?

Hello Erik,

The Cost Rollup Service "rolls up" the costs of:
• Forecast and actual‟ s from leaf tasks to root task for a workplan. For a project, Cost rollup always recalculates the entire work plan when a change has been made to the work plan.
• Assets and Proposals when time is logged against the same
• Update the Financial Summary of the project (and also Asset and Proposal).
• In addition to rollup, the service maintains a daily cost contour which provides daily costs for processed projects under various cost categories.
For projects that have baselines, Earned value/SPI/CPI/cost health are computed by this service. The status of the project is not taken into
account during this computation. The maximum duration of a project, on which cost roll-up calculations are performed is 3650 days and is configurable with the server configuration parameter com.kintana.server.PROJ_COST_ROLL_UP_DURATION_IN_DAYS. Cost rollup is not performed on projects whose duration is longer than this value.
