Re: forge 510 protect problem in transmit from source

The first error you found is really not an error you can ignore it. The
second set is the actual error: No connection could be made because the
target machine actively refused it . This could mean that there is a
connectivity problem between the Source Server and Target VM. Make sure
the port 3725 is opened bi-directionally.

Re: forge 510 protect problem in transmit from source

There could be several possibilities why we are failing here. Can you
confirm if this job ever worked or we are trying to get the initial
replication done.

First thing I would check to see what state is the source server
OFXcontroller in, try restarting the service. If it will not restart
then the problem is because of the controller. If the controller is in
hanged state then the quickest way to resolve this issue would be to
kill ofxcontroller in task manager, delete or move controller log files
which are located: C:\Program files\platespin migrate
server\controller\event log. Once the files will be deleted start the
service again. If it will respond and run correctly this time with no
errors in controller log then retry your job again.

Another problem could be with VSS and I would recommend to see if we
have any errors in your source server event logs related to our product,
If we will find some error please post them. Few common issues with VSS
is that we might have snapshot size limit configured which will prevent
us from creating our snapshots. To confirm the limit set do the
following:

right click on C: drive > properties > shadow copies tab > click on
settings by default I think it has a 300mb limit, if we have one set
here please change it to unlimited and retry the job. Another
possibility is the function of VSS it self please verify if we can
create VSS snapshots locally:

right click on C: drive > properties > shadow copies tab > click on
create now > confirm if snapshot was created or w received an error
message. If error message then let me know what error and maybe I will
be able to suggest somehting for us.

Hope this will help us if not we should get close to resolving this
issue.

Re: forge 510 protect problem in transmit from source

thank you all
the problem already rosolved.
i configured the job had issues stopping the services before
replication,
thus the job could not get the copy data stage since job was hung up at
stopping services.

Stopping services...
Stopping: ntrtscan
OfficeScanNT RealTime Scan STOPPED.
Stopping: tmlisten
OfficeScan NT Listener STOPPED.
Stopping: TmProxy
OfficeScan NT Proxy Service STOPPED.
Are services stopped? - False
Services have not stopped or have not finished stopping...
Sleeping and retrying...
