Moving Platespin Workload Licenses

So, we've got an old server running platespin that we'd like to
decomission and replace it with something more modern. (And not running
Windows 2003 which is EOL this summer). The problem is we have some
workloads for which we have some remaining migrations still yet used.
I'd like to be able to move keep those obviously.

How is it we move the licensing from the old platespin server to the new

Hi Laura

Assuming that your Migrate system is under a maintenance contract with
us then you are entitled to install the latest version of the PlateSpin
software on a new server and transfer the remaining licenses to it. If
not then you may still be able to transfer the licenses but you could
not upgrade the software and would therefore be restricted to the
platform support of the version you own.

If the PlateSpin server has internet access then you need only remove
the license key from the old server through the Migrate console (under
Tools / License Manager) and then add it to the console of the new
Migrate server in the same way. If the server doesn't have Internet
access or you encounter any issues then you should get in touch with the
