PlateSpin version 9.2.0.2899 and Suse 11sp2

Hi,

It seems as if there is a compatibility issue with PlateSpin version
9.2.0.2899 and Suse 11sp2.

Is there a patch/update available.

Regards
John

mmmh, there is an issue with SP2. A Novell support engineer supplied the
following URL ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/bootofx.x2p.SLES11SP2.iso that
should have the necessary drivers for SLES11sp2. Testing now and things
look good.

Regards
John

Just a note: we don't currently support the 3.0 kernel. Although that
ISO may work for discovering the target, we can't guarantee that the
actual migration will be successful.

Re: PlateSpin version 9.2.0.2899 and Suse 11sp2

I have now come up with an issue with "block" transfer. The documentation
on building a block-based Linux kernel does not work either. In short
"SCREWED"

I supposed that will teach me a lesson not to upgrade the servers too
quickly. Anyone got any other ideas .....
