Upgrade Platespin Migrate 9.1 -> 12.1

I need to migrate my Platespin 9.1 server (on Windows 2008 R2) to
Platespin 12.1.

What steps are needed to do this? The release notes for 12.1 suggest
that only upgrades from 12.0 hotfix 1 are supported.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Upgrade Platespin Migrate 9.1 -> 12.1

I'm sorry, but there isn't a direct upgrade path from 9.1 to 12.1
I recommend creating a fresh VM to be the new PlateSpin server and then
install Migrate 12.1 on that fresh VM.
Here is the documentation (release notes, installation guide, and user
guide) so you can review the prerequisites for the new version of the
product and get familiar with all its features.
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/platespin-migrate-12-1/
I would highly advise installing Patch Update 1 for Migrate 12.1 right
after installing. This can be found on our download site in the patch
finder section.

If you run into any problems installing the new version of the product,
please create a service request so our technical support team can
provide precise, in depth troubleshooting.
Have a great day.
