Re: Cannot add workload

Hi,

Looks like inventory process running on source machine have some issues
and it is not completing or errors out. Please ensure Protect server has
access to $ADMIN share on source machine. Please use net use command on
Protect server to verify same. If issue persist, I would recommend you
to create SR for it.

Thanks your reply,

I have follow the troubleshotting guide and make sure I can access the
share drive (c$ & admin$) and the required services are running, and the
DCOM is working, but I still cannot add the Windows 2012 R2 to workload.
may I know any other thing I can check.

p.s.: The Windows is up to date, and the firewall and UAC is closed.

Thank you

Hi,

I think, inventory process is not able to produce desired results
causing this issue. Support team can provide standalone executable to
collect inventory on source machine to confirm this. Also, I would
recommend you to open SR for this. There is patch for inventory issue
w.r.t. Windows Server 2012 R2. This patch would be part of next
release.

Thanks,
Pradeep
