When adding "Install Bundle" operation into a new bundle cou can choose the reference (link) of the bundle. After that, if you need to edit the linked bundle you need to check as first, the location path of the bundle, change on this location and then modify this bundle.

My suggest is, to build a direct edit option in the "Install Bundle" operation, so that the linked bundle can be edited without leaving the new one.
