is the credentials for patch subscription in RHEL / SUSE required?

I was testing in our lab and decided to register a SLES 15 device to see what happens. The device is just a fresh install with no key/registration. So everything is going smoothly expecting when I discover patches I wouldn't be able to see patches but to my surprise, ZENworks found some patches and  I was able to cache them though in the patches tab there's no patch but at the patch dashboard -> recently released patch I could see and download them. So is the credentials required even if I have a ZENworks patch management key?
