Re: Difference between sitescope Server old Integrations and New Generic Data Integration

Hi dhingra,

The old integration is being used when you define a SiteScope monitor as part of a monitor profile while the new Generic Data Integration is being used whenever you are using PC Topology feature and apply monitors on the AUT component.

Thanks Eyal for your response !

Can you please recommend which one is the recommended solution and what are advantages of using topology over the profile option.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Difference between sitescope Server old Integrations and New Generic Data Integration

Hi IvoH,

In order to get monitors from SiteScope using topology, Controller and SiteScope needs to be on the same LAN.
In general there is a way of working with topology using SiteScope over firewall but it will require opening ports in the firewall which can be an issue.

Eyal
