Accessing one project from another.

Hi,
I'm looking to add a feature to my databases which would allow the user, on choosing a status of deferred in a defect, to be presented with the new defect form from a Known/Deferred Issues project, and to enter a defect to that project. Is it possible to get that kind of access from one project to another? Has anyone got any pointers to where to look to find out how to do it?

Regards,

Tony

Re: Accessing one project from another.

What version of the product are you using?

You could write custom workflow code to pop up your own dialog to collect the information, and use the API to push it into the other project. You would have to provide credentials for logging in to that other project. Or you would have to prompt the user to re-enter their own credentials.
