After migration to LDAP authentication

Hi ,

We have successfully migrated to LDAP Authentication but after the migration all the users are facing an issue that fields in all the modules of Quality Center which used to display usernames are now displaying Numbers ( eg 12345 since this is the LDAP UID)

This has been corrected for all the modules with the help of OTA through Excel Macro except for the TestLab module ( Tester field existing in the TestCycl table ) which is has been updated with the userfullnames for the existing tests but for the new tests the values are not getting updated .

The project which faces this issue connects from QTP to Quality Center and then run the test thus saving the test in Quality Center .

Could any one let me know as to how will the tester field be populated in this scenario .

Regards

Re: After migration to LDAP authentication

You need to check your Advanced LDAP Import Settings, where you will see the box to enter Field Mappings. You have mapped the QC user name field to the LDAP uid. You can change this mapping to something else, like QC user name = LDAP displayName, for instance. It depends on what your QC user names used to be before LDAP.
