How to map the Custom Fields

Hi

How to map the Custom fileds from Test Plan to Test Lab ?

I have added one field in Test plan and Test lab. Now test plan having the values in the custom field, If i taken the test cases from test plan to test lab the custom field values are not comming to test lab custom field.

please guide me.

Which project entities, exactly, did you add the custom fields to? "Test Plan" and "Test Lab" are modules, not entities. When the custom fields were added through Project Customization, you had to pick the entity to which they would be added.

Assuming you added a custom field to the Test entity (a Test Case in the Test Plan module) and to the Test Instance entity (an instance of a Test Case that has been added to a Test Set in the Test Lab module) then search this forum using this search phrase - "copy value from test plan to test lab". That will lead you to multiple posts that discuss solutions.
