OTA API - Connect using Windows Credentials

Jump to solution

Hello,

I have several VB scripts that connects to ALM using OTA API and the following piece of code:

Set tdc = CreateObject("TDApiOle80.TDConnection")
tdc.InitConnectionEx QCServer
tdc.login QCUser, QCPwd
tdc.Connect QCDomain, QCProject

This is simple enough but the problem is that it requires the username and password to be included in the script. Is there a way to automatically use Windows credentials instead?

Thanks.

No, you need to provide user credentials. But you can prompt for it.

I am using a VBScript InputBox to retrieve the password. It is not masking the input, but I see that as a minor problem.
