Test Lab Data Pull

Jump to solution

Hi there,

I am wanting to take a data pull from the test lab module. I would like to see the following:

All Test Instances from Test Lab

And the following information regarding each test instance:

Test Cycle from Test Lab

Test Set by folders from Test Lab

Execution Status from Test Lab

Planned Execution Date from Test Lab

Execution Date from Test Lab

Subject from Test Plan

I have very basic coding skills, so as much detail as you can provide would be great.

Thank you so much!

Hunt

Hi Hunt. You can use this query:

SELECT TC_TESTCYCL_ID, TC_TEST_ID, TS_NAME, TC_PLAN_SCHEDULING_DATE, TC_EXEC_DATE, TC_STATUS, CF_ITEM_NAME, CY_CYCLE, AL_DESCRIPTION
FROM TESTCYCL
INNER JOIN TEST ON TC_TEST_ID = TS_TEST_ID
LEFT JOIN CYCLE ON CY_CYCLE_ID = TC_CYCLE_ID
INNER JOIN CYCL_FOLD ON CF_ITEM_ID = CY_FOLDER_ID
INNER JOIN ALL_LISTS ON AL_ITEM_ID = TS_SUBJECT

Have you investigated the built in reporting functions?

Yes I have. I would like more details regarding the test instances though and I would like to take that pull and put it into an excel file, rather than just getting a graph, pdf, or visibility in the alm tool.
