Unable to Connect to ALM endpoint while creating link in Micro Focus ALM synchronizer. below error displayed 

 

ERROR #1- adapter.CONNECTION_FAILURE : Failed to connect to endpoint of type Micro-Focus-ALM. Error: com.mercury.qc.gossip.exp.GossipServerException: adapter.CONNECTION_FAILURE : Failed to connect to endpoint of type Micro-Focus-ALM. Error: com.hp.qc.synchronizer.adapters.exceptions.AdapterConnectionException: Unhandled exception in Connect method during creation TDConnection object. It is possible that the Micro Focus ALM client is not installed on the Synchronizer server machine. Error message: AutomationException: Class not registered..

The problem since to be that the Micro Focus ALM client is not installed on the Synchronizer server machine.

 -Run the uninstall utility tool:https://hpln.hpe.com/contentoffering/alm-client-cleanup-add-in

11. Right click on Internet Explorer and select “Run as Administrator”

12. Open Quality Center main page (this will start to download the client components from the server)

13. Click on "Tools" page

14. Click on "HP ALM Client Registration" 

15. Click on "Register HP ALM”

16. Click on "Tools" page

17. Click on “HP ALM Connectivity”.

18. Download the connectivity add in and install it on the client machine.
