how to change the field value once it has set to default value

Hello All,

we have set a field with default value and wanted to change this value later if user belongs to particular group.

for instance 

new bug will have a field "complexity" set to high by default through work flow,

but if user belonging to TDAdmin user group he/she should be able to change the value later to low or medium please help.

code used to set defult value

Bug_Fields("BG_USER_TEMPLATE_05").value="QC"
Bug_Fields("BG_USER_TEMPLATE_03").value="Service Request"
Bug_Fields("BG_USER_TEMPLATE_22").value="Low

we are trying to change the value of BG_USER_TEMPLATE_22 .later

Veeru,

you can use such codes based on user group in Bug_New Function.

& in the Bug_FieldChange, you can based upon the user group & bring out the list value.

Refer Admin guide for examples, plenty avaialble, just tune it to the relevance
