We’re pleased to announce the release of Micro Focus LeanFT 14.51!
This version is fully packed with new features and enhancements, all designed to support the trend of shift-left functional testing. This blog will briefly touch on LeanFT's new capabilities.
What's new in LeanFT 14.51
LeanFT 14.51 is packed with enhancements on existing functionality, but also introduces some new features. Most importantly the ability to virtualize sensors, API calls and mobile devices.
LeanFT Grid .NET SDK
LeanFT 14.50 introduced the LeanFT Grid, a powerful way to run tests on different environments in parallel. But the first version was only available for Java and now it is also available for .NET programming languages, to enable the .NET community to take advantage of the time savings, by running tests in parallel on different environments.
Service Virtualization (early access)
Virtualizing sensors, API calls and devices boosts the efficency in functional testing, as the tests will work on a stable, controlled environment. Save money by simulating the production environment vs. mirroring it.
This first version of integrating Service Virtualization is focused on mobile devices (via Mobile Center) and their backends.
Hosted Mobile Devices
The integration between LeanFT and StormRunner Functional is now more powerful than ever. Now it is also possible to select devices that are actually hosted in the StormRunner Functional infrastructure.
The enhanced ALM Integration now supports the API key based authentication of ALM 12.60 as well as the ability to run LeanFT Business Component Tests from ALM's test plan module.
Support for embedded Chrome and PowerBuilder recording
JBoss Developer Studio support
Leverage LeanFT within the JBoss Developer Studio and enjoy the Application models and project templates right within the JBoss Developer Studio.
