Data Loss experienced using Reflection X FTP tool
Staticians at our site use Reflection X 16.0 FTP tool for transferring data from a Linux server to a windows server for FDA submission. We noticed that once in a while Reflection X FTP displays a successfull tranfer of files using bnary transfer mode, but upon opening the data files it is observed that a few rows/data entries are missing. for example - when you transfer a dataset with 200 rows and open the file from target location, only 196 rows will be found and 4 rows missing. This does not happen in subsequent transfers and the same file gets properly transfered (without missing data entries) on second attempt. This is the first time we have observed data loss using Binary transfer. We have urgent requests from FDA.
Has this issue been reported previuosly? any resolution?
