Active / Inactive License (User)

When is a License (user) considered active / inactive ?

We do have more Active licenses then we have GroupWise users.
Did import a number of old GW archives. Are those active licenses as well?
And is it possible to set those inactive, for they will never get updated any more.

Thanks.

Yes they are at first

At some point Retain decides they are inactive and flags them as such.
I haven't found out how long that is after they've been removed from
GroupWise but it appears to be about a month or two. I keep forgetting
to ask when I have a support call open on those rare times I've needed
support.

Thank you David
Nice to have that official link that I just couldn't find.
With no removed GW accounts in November through January, I couldn't
tell until this past week's reports which confirm that number on Retain
4.4 (and I see we have a new version while I'm at it, sigh, it never
ends)
