Application Repository admin default password

Hi!

I'm installing SBM in a test environment and when opening the Application Repository (in my case http://localhost:8085/mashupmgr/) I can't login because of unknown admin's password. I've read the installation guide, but there is no hint as of what the password is. I've tried to change it to emty and null (directly in the DB, I still have the original string though) but it doesn't work.

Thanks

If you have installed using the sample database, then I was pretty sure that the password was either blank or 'admin'. Note that you should avoid at all costs doing updates directly on the database as that isn't supported by Serena.

You can set the "Administrator" login ID and password using the SBM System Administrator on the machine which has the Application Engine (AE) component. Tools / Reset Administrative User Access...

The password stored in the DB is encrypted. If Serena is following standard security practices it's probably a hash of the actual password.
