Archive Error Message

We were trying to archive issues on one of our primary tables and received the following error message:
"DB Exception while attempting to archive String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated."
Has anyone else ever received this error? Any ideas on how to resolve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Have you modified primary table after you did an archive before. Seems like I've run into this and that was the cause. Don't remember how it was fixed? We only had 1 item in the arcive table.
