Are Named Faults Required to expose SOAP error for Orchestration FaultHandler

I have been trying to expose the SOAP fault of a custom WSDL create for Remedy in the CATCHALL fault handler. There does not appear to be a way to get the information when a SOAP call fails. Is it a requirement that a named fault be included in the WSDL in order for SBM to exposed the actual error message.
