Can you help a quick analysis of 11.4.2 vs 11.8 ?

Can you help  a quick analysis of 11.4.2 vs 11.8 ?

We are currently running SBM 11.03 - what are our options with adobe flash after December 31 st 2020.

We want to upgrade to 11.4.2 but   the end of support for this May 2021 as answered in this forum.

So we need an urgent  advice on this

New features in each version can be found in the release notes that are available as part of SBM documentation:

Browse through the notes for an overview of what changed each release.

For a quick analysis, I'd recommend going to 11.8.  One caveat being the infrastructure requirements for 11.8.  Don't underestimate the cost and time of upgrading or replacing Windows Server & Oracle or SQL Server.

For a couple months we've been planning a transition from 11.4.2 to 11.7.1 along with a complete replacement of the underlying infrastructure of VMs, Windows Server and SQL Server.  After analyzing and testing 11.8, I think we've decided that 11.8 seems to have mitigated some of the problems, documented and undocumented, we've discovered in 11.7.1.  In our test systems we're still having difficulty with 11.8 SmartCard authentication but can't pin it down to VM, Tomcat, IIS, SBM, Windows or ???
