Editable Grid Question

Jump to solution
We recently upgraded from 10.1.2 to 10.1.5 and using the classic Interface (User Workspace) and noticed that when we access a report with the editable grid it does not display all the records and depending on your screen % you can see more, but it still does not act like it did in the previous version. Does anyone else have this issue?

Re: Editable Grid Question

I think i see it now. From my point of view it looks like a bug and i would submit it.
But i can also suggest a workaround: you could modify editablegrid.htm template by adding style below after $IF(FLASHALLOWED) line:

Then of course you need to clear template cache etc... hope you know how to apply template workaround, if no, you could send me a message i'll describe steps.

Which browser do you use? HTML5 on/off?
Ensure that you have browser zoom 100% - editable grid flash can not zoom.

We are on IE 10... With the HTML5 turned on The 100% does not work, we actually have to increase the browser zoom. If we turn off the HTML5 we can use the E-Grid

Oh forum Rich Text Editor corrupted my post - it tries to render "style" tag.
I attached code block as image

Re: Editable Grid Question

Sure. To apply this fix and avoid overriding fixed file from database (in case IIS restart), you need:
1) stop IIS
2) make change to file
3) open System Admin
4) perform "Put files to database", and after complete
5) start IIS

However, before doing that, you can briefly test if it works without IIS restart. just apply fix and run next administrator command in browser:
http://localhost/tmtrack/tmtrack.dll?AdminPage&command=ClearTemplateCache
Just change localhost to your server name.

$TITLE()

$INCLUDE(ttcharset)
$JAVASCRIPT(globals.js)
$JAVASCRIPT(utilities.js)

$IF(FLASHALLOWED)

****** IS THIS WHERE I PUT THE CODE??????

$JAVASCRIPT(flexutils.js)
$ELSE()
$ENDIF()

No, you need second $IF(FLASHALLOWED) tag, 13 lines below, inside "body" tag!
sorry for confusion
