1.) How do I format a numeric field as currency in a report?

2.) Currently, the field does not have a default value so the field shows as null in reports. This is fabulous:) If I am able to format the field as currency, can I keep the field as null if no one has updated it? The user does not want to see zero in the column, if no one has edited it yet.

Set the numeric field Options to Fixed precision with 2 digits after the decimal point within Composer. I usually set the prefix to $ as well.
