How to add fields to Built in Reports ?

Hello Team,

could you please help on below issue.

When we use the "search" or "Advane search" in search result we are getting only two fields, we want to add more fields like submitted date, submitter etc..

How to add more fields to search result ? Or how to add fields to built in reports ?

You're a little limited in selecting fields for the search results but see if this kb doc helps at all.

Not sure why you can't get to that link. You might look into that as it's not password restricted or anything but in a nutshell take a look at the primary table in Composer. Your looking for the "Value Display Format" setting on the properties of the table. By default {Title} is the only field listed but you can add your own like {Submitter} etc. You can put some html in the there as well and make it look better when displayed.

In short, there isn't anyway to add fields to search results or built-in reports. Your only 2 options are to modify the Value Display Format for the table so some additional fields are included - but I wouldn't recommend that as this impacts everywhere where the issue is displayed (not just the search results).

Alternatively, as Paul suggested create your own report(s) with query at runtime parameters.
