How to get the content/value of a 'Detail Control'?

Jump to solution
Hi all,

I am having a problem with getting information of the "Attachment" Detail Control.
The Attachments_Section is used with the Drag & Drop Javascript (which is working perfectly) but I also have a Submit button which shouldn't be able to click when no file is uploaded (so the Attachments_Section is emty).
Does anybody have an idea how to ask for the number of files shown in the Attachments_Section-list?

Thanks in advance,
Dominik

This should be achievable using a small bit of JQuery:

var attachmentCount = $("td.attachmentTitle", "div#SectionAttachments").length;
