REST Grid on State Form...

Hello All,

I'm working on an Asset Management workflow in our SBM system and I'm faced with a rather interesting challenge. I need to pull in and display data on a stat forms from two different systems related to this process (Kaseya & Netbox). Both of these systems have REST APIs and are fairly well documented; unfortunately both of these systems also require the API requests to contain specific header information in order to work correctly.

I was headed down the path of using ModScript to create the API calls, which has been difficult coming as I don't have any experience with the language. All that said, it occurred to me that because the context of ModScript is limited to pre/post- transition and pre/post- state I wouldn't be able to update this data when a user views the state form of the item.

Do anyone have any ideas on how they would go about creating this functionality? and/or any examples

I've sent you an email on this with a sample process application. If there is demand for it, I'll write up a blog post and provide the sample application in that.
