External referencefield of an incident does not update status from OMi

When setting up the CLIP integration between SMAX and OMi we noticed that the external reference field is filled on initiation of the incident, but not maintained when updates occur in OMi.
When users check the incident, it can be closed in SMAX, the event is closed in OMi, but the external reference still shows the event as open in OMi. This can cause unwanted questions to the support desk, as the status shown is not the actual status.
