When the Service desk creates a Hot News on something important that is happening it would be great if end users could follow that Hot News in a similar fashion as they can with public requests.
This would make it easier for end users to get updates on Hot News issues.
A current work around is for the service desk to create a pseudo request and make that one public - then the end users would also see the request and could follow that one instead of the hot news (this is a cluncky work around only though).
