Improve users options funcionalities and forms conception in the offerings

Right now, the options proposed to create offerings are too limited, we are lacking options .

It's not possible to organize the form of each offering as we wish, when we add users options they are all list after the standard fields of the request module.

We would like to be able to organize both types of fields as we wish. Having the possibility to put one standard field, then a user option, then another standard filed...

Example : 

- requested for (standard field)

- User option 1

- Description (standard field)

- User option 2

We already worked with SAW R&D team on this topic in the past. 
We also proposed to allow offering creation like diagnostic tree to simplify the creation of the rules.

There's many possible ideas around this topic. I am sure MicroFocus is working on it but a customer idea sharing for this specific topic would be very interesting for many customers.

Hi @Mess I hope you don't mind, but I moved the 2nd topic in this idea to this new idea. During our review we noticed it was two topics, and difficult to track votes and status when that is the case. Please see this new idea and add votes and comments.

Based on the outcome of my last POC, I would suggest to provide the capability to:


1) organize fields and User Options on two columns 

2) organize User Options on Sections (like the fields in the agent forms).


These two features would help when the Offering need several fields, to make the form  clearer than a long flat list of fields.

Great idea, the user option field should have the similar capability to normal field.

and there should also an option to expand or collapse the user section too.

According to 2020.02 User Guide (, all User Options fields are displayed as a fixed size, one field per line in Service Portal interface. It makes sense.

All the User Options fields are still displayed as one field per line in the Request ticket's Catalog Offering tab on the Agent Interface. Our customers would like to display 2 fields per line in the Request ticket if the User Option field is define as "medium" size. The User Options fields (DATE, Drop-list, or Boolean fields) can be displayed sis-by-side in the Request ticket.

It would be a very good benefit to be at least able to put selected attribute from entity Request below the User options in the form
