List management : number of records extension for ITAM

Hello

We have a real issue with the number of records we can manage in List (30 records) in particular when we have already an OOB content in the list. For the OOB content, we cannot enable them, just update the label (with no real sense with the Name for administration if we really want to use a record for another content).

The issue is for InfrastructurePeripheralSubTypeEnum. 11 records already in SMAX. Our customer can not add all the non IT peripherals equipment he want to manage in SMAX.

As the managed assets is not exactly in the OOB content, he cannot also desactivate the one he will not use in the existing system value.

This limitation is also a constraint for ITSM list.

Hi Isabelle - Give us more details on the list of sub-types this customer wants to track, as this could be an useful example of an implementation tracking numerous non-IT assets.

It could also give us more context as to what other approaches could deal with allowing for this, beyond the basic request to expand the ENUM 30 item cap.

Hello David, Let me give you the context here

Our prospect "LYRA", a medical company managing  all the tickets and request for dentistry business. Their clients are dentists

The dentistry Non-IT equipment type are numerous and our is limited to 30 entries

The trick here we cannot delete any entry if a type no longer useful  or a mistake is done on adding a new one

The idea here is to give the capability to manage the List by having the possibility to delete an entry list.

Thank you for the added context, this helps.

If they were able to remove/reuse existing slots, would 30 still be enough?
