Possibility to delete a Role

Possibility to delete a Role

Since it is not possible to delete Roles in SMAX, we would like to be able to remove a custom created Role in the People section of the Agent Interface.

When a Role has been created in one of our environments (and not needed), this role will be taken to another environment with the Dev2Prod tool. In this case the only solution is to remove all the rights given to the Role to prevent to have the Role enabled.

We propose to enable a delete button and corresponding delete functionality when you select a Role you would like to delete.

Please see the attached screenshot for further clarification.

There could be also some rule implemented that, upon deletion of a Role, a pop-up warning/error message is displayed in case the Role is currently assigned to a User or a Group and that if you want to delete the role, you first remove it from any user or group then try deleting again. This to prevent further issues after deleting a role.
