SMAX Portal - Amazon.com like functions

I would like to suggest an extension of the portal capabilites. What I would like to see are functions like "Frequently bought together" and "What other items do customers buy after viewing this item?" to enhance the "shopping experience" in the portal (as known from shops like Amazon.com).

I am aware of the SMAX features to display "recent offerings" and contextual information, but what is displayed is different  from typical shopping portals.

The "Your services & assets" feature allows to link potentially matching offerings to equipment the user already owns, and this great, but it is not part of the "shopping activity". It makes sense for equipment & services that are "owned" already.

This idea is based on feedback I received after demonstrations of the portal and I have seen similar requirements in RfPs several times.

I heard similar requests during a "ITSM Tool MeetUp" day of our partner Serview in Germany (four full-day events in four locations, 17 vendors presenting their solutions to customer and partner audience).

Reasonable idea.
