Support external users in SMAX

Support external users in SMAX

More and more customers require that SMAX supports external users (i.e. users not registered in the SSO or AD environment that manages internal users). This is especially true in Enterprise Service Management situations. Due to the lack of this support in SMAX, we have had to drop responding to almost half the RFPs we see in the market place. PLEASE add support for external users so that we can respond YES to requirements such as the following Must-Have requirement from a recent RFP:

«Users should be created automatically based on the first request received. Both internal and external users must be supported. It must also be possible to create new users manually, directly in the system.»

This is a great idea and we would like to see this feature.

Ideally we would want some form of passcode or MFA to be able to self register and have an approval process triggered to enrol them as end users.
