Support of 2-pack and 16-pack Licensing of Windows Server

0 Votes

In May 2017, Microsoft introduced a new 16-pack of Core Licenses for Windows Server in addition to the existing 2-pack of Core Licenses. Windows Server 2019 Datacenter and Standard editions are licensed by physical core. Licenses are sold in 2-packs and 16-packs.

Asset Manager supports Windows Server 2019 Datacenter and Standard editions. However, licence types (2-packs and 16-packs) are not specifically mentioned anywhere.

As SLO package provide data regarding Microsoft licenses, it should be updated with this new licensing.
